KAM Performing Arts Academy provide a welcoming space for performers to thrive. 

At KAM Performing Arts, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the magic of the performing arts. As a Community Interest Company (CIC) and not-for-profit organisation, our mission is rooted in inclusivity, creativity, and accessibility.

 


 

 

 

We offer a wide range of performing arts opportunities, including academies, theatre classes, workshops, accredited training, and performing arts and fitness vocational courses, helping individuals of all ages grow in confidence, develop valuable skills, and pursue their passion for the performing arts.

 

 

 

 

At KAM Performing Arts Academy, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our growing network of partners helps us deliver inclusive, high-quality performing arts experiences that truly benefit the community.

At KAM Performing Arts Academy, we blend tradition with innovation, providing a holistic performing arts education that nurtures talent, discipline, and artistry. Performance is a huge part of our vision and we know how important is it for the children/youth/adults to be able to get the opportunity to perform on a stage a few time a year.

KAM  provide a welcoming space for young performers to thrive. With degrees in Dance and Drama, our team brings a wealth of expertise to every class, ensuring high-quality instruction and a nurturing environment for all students. Collectively, we have performed professionally around the world, attended Masters Performing Arts College and hold a Level 6 Diploma in Dance Teaching from Trinity College and a Level 4 in Education & Training qualification. Our experience spans teaching and lecturing in schools, universities, and the community, equipping us with the skills to inspire and support learners of all ages and abilities.

 

Collectively, we hold extensive professional credentials and industry experience, making us well-equipped to deliver exceptional performing arts education.

Do you have a talent you'd love to share with the world? KAM Performing Arts CIC is delighted to be partnering with No Child Left Behind (NCLB) to bring an exciting Talent Show to this year's Party in the Park.

 

This special event celebrates the incredible talents of children and young people from across Cheltenham, providing a fun, supportive and inclusive platform for performers to shine.

 

Whether you're an experienced performer or trying something new for the very first time, we'd love to see you take to the stage and showcase what makes you unique

Who Can Enter?

The Talent Show is open to children and young people aged 5–19 years old from Cheltenham and the surrounding areas.

All abilities and experience levels are welcome. Whether you perform every week, enjoy singing around the house, have a talent you'd love to share, or have never stepped onto a stage before, this is your chance to shine.

We encourage entries from individuals, duos and groups, and welcome performers from all backgrounds and abilities. The Talent Show is designed to be a fun, supportive and inclusive experience where every young person has the opportunity to showcase their talents and celebrate their achievements.

If you're aged 0–19 and have a talent to share, we'd love to see you perform at Party in the Park!

What Can You Perform?

We welcome all kinds of talent, including:

  • Singing

  • Dancing

  • Acting and drama performances

  • Playing a musical instrument

  • Magic acts

  • Comedy and joke telling

  • Poetry and spoken word

  • Gymnastics and movement routines

  • Unique and original talents

If you're passionate about it, we want to see it!

The Talent Show is about so much more than performing. It's an opportunity to:

Most importantly, we want every participant to have fun, feel supported and be proud of taking part.

There will be four places winners - two from each age catagory age 5-9/10-19.

How to Register

Taking part is easy, and there are two ways to register.

Register Online

Complete the registration form below to secure your place and tell us a little about your act. Spaces may be limited, so we encourage early registration.

Register at a Cheltenham Library

If you would prefer to register in person, you can visit any Gloucestershire library in Cheltenham and speak to a member of staff at the main desk. Library staff will be happy to help you complete your registration for the Talent Show.

Simply visit your nearest library, (The Children's Library, Hesters Way Library, Oakley Interactive Centre, Prestbury etc) head to the desk and let the team know you would like to register for the Party in the Park Talent Show.

No Internet Access? No Problem!

We want every child and young person to have the opportunity to take part. That's why registrations can also be completed at any Cheltenham library. Friendly library staff will guide you through the process and ensure your application is submitted.
